What can I say...what a spectacular place! Before Diana and I moved to Australia we visited the South Island for a couple of weeks and Westport was a real highlight. It truly is a wonderful place with amazing scenary, beautiful coastlines and a lovely place to visit.

We used to think that Waiheke was the most beautiful place in New Zealand but now I think we have a new winner! If we ever come back to NZ we'll be heading for Westport!!

HI my grandad father had just past away and he used to work in deniston in the mines and my father and the higgins family all grew up in west port it is a great place and hopefully people will share the same experiances as i did while i was with my grandfather

hi i go over to westport every year for the dance compotitions and i think it is a lovely place in new zealand

I live in Westport but am currently on an exchange in Navan, Canada. Because I live there and see everything there every day i often forget to appreciate its beauty. It takes leaving for a while to truly appreciate what you have. I've been away for a month and I now realise how truly blessed I am to live in such a wonderful place. I'm looking forward to returning home
